Four years ago, Membership Recruitment opened its doors, armed with years of IT recruitment experience and, admittedly, more than a little entrepreneurial naivety. What followed has been a journey of unexpected niches, rapid growth, and a few innovations we're genuinely proud of.
An Unlikely First Win
Our very first client was in dental prosthetics, about as far from the IT world as you can get. They'd been searching for months without success. Within 10 days, Martijn had found and placed the right candidate. That early lesson stuck with us: great recruitment isn't about knowing an industry inside out. It's about methodology, drive, and network.

Since that first placement, we've had the privilege of working with some truly great clients across diverse sectors. With every assignment, our network has grown, and so has our ambition. Today, we're proud to count 24 successful placements across four years of business.
Bringing Vacancies to Life
One thing we've invested in heavily is how we present opportunities to candidates. We now create animations to showcase open roles, and the response has been remarkable. Our audience engages far more with video content than with traditional job descriptions, and our candidates tell us the same. A short, well-crafted animation beats a wall of text every time.
Taking Control of Our Data
Our biggest project of the past year has been one candidates and clients rarely see directly, but feel the impact of immediately. We've built a system that makes all data from LinkedIn and job boards fully transparent and searchable on our end, independent of the filters those platforms impose. This means we're no longer at the mercy of social media algorithms. We find who we're looking for, not just who the platform decides to show us.
Always Reachable
We've also expanded our availability. Membership Recruitment is now reachable by phone every day of the week, from 8am to 8pm. Because recruitment doesn't always happen between nine and five.
