Aim for the orbit
We're looking for a seasoned Legal Counsel & Compliance Officer with a proven track record in financial regulation, contracts and risk management. You'll advise on and draft commercial agreements, terms and conditions and privacy documentation, and you'll own our compliance framework, including AML/KYC, GDPR, PSD2 and the requirements of the Dutch regulators (DNB and AFM).
You'll monitor new legislation, translate it into practical guidelines for the team, run risk assessments and internal audits, and handle contact with regulators, partners and external counsel. You'll work together with product, development and finance to build compliance into our products from day one, and you'll use AI and automation to keep the workflow efficient. You contribute to the roadmap and priority discussions, and you're not afraid to say "not like this, but like that".
You're a self-starter with a can-do attitude, taking ownership of your projects and working collaboratively with the development team and other stakeholders to achieve outstanding results.
